Can we convert non touch laptop to touch laptop?
November 1, 2022Inside all the laptop batteries there is a microprocessor with software, which communicates with the laptop and calculates the battery’s volume during charging and discharging. The new battery needs to be calibrated to your laptop’s gauge and to reach the best performance.
Please follow the procedures below:
- Your new battery will arrive in a partially discharged state. Full charge the battery to 100%. If the charging stops at any points (not reaching 100%), turn off your laptop, remove and reinsert the battery and it should continue charging.
- Unplug the power adapter and let it run until the computer power down by itself.
- Your battery will need 3~4 times full charge and discharge cycle to optimize the performance, and the gauge should be reasonably accurate.
We recommend you to do the following:
- Perform a full charge and discharge cycle every 2~3 month to keep the gauge accurate.
- If you will not be using the battery for a long time (1 month or above), please charge the battery to 50% level and remove it from the computer. Keep in a dry and cool place.
- Keep the battery away from heat. For example: in a car under the sun or above the radiator/furnace.
CAUTION!
- Do no disassemble
- Never expose the battery to fire, liquid or direct sun light.
- Short-circuit the battery can cause it to overheat, ignite or explode.
- Never dispose of used battery with normal wastes. Please follow your local regulation on dispose/recycle batteries.
